About Amanda
October 11, 2016
I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years and have practiced in a variety of settings that include inpatient and outpatient clinics, medical centers, distance education, and public health. After battling multiple health challenges and utilizing diet to relieve food sensitivities and inflammation, I decided to further my education in the specialty of integrative and functional nutrition.
Philosophy
My focus in on supporting your body at the cellular level so you can feel better--more energetic again. Inflammation, food sensitivities, oxidative stress, nutrient deficiencies, and others. These are the result of imbalances in the body that cause fatigue, aches/pains, migraines, decreased concentration and focus, bowel irregularities, and so many other symptoms.
How it Works
October 11, 2016
First, we will meet for our initial appointment. During this time, I will gather detailed information about your symptoms, experiences, and any lab work that you may have available. I will then provide you with nutrition recommendations for testing, additional labs, and the nutrition therapy plan. We'll continue follow-up appointments as needed to track your progress toward the nutrition goals. I encourage active communication with my patients and offer a secure app for texting, e-mailing, and sending photos of your food intake.
